We have great news to share with you – Ask.com was a finalist in the Forrester Groundswell Awards! Although we didn’t take home the big prize we’re still pumped about our finalist spot in the business to consumer mobile application category. Check out Forrester’s blog post about it here.
Back in June, we launched a fun trivia game called Skip the Line at Six Flags theme parks to let people play for a chance to win a spot at the front of ride lines. Our Ask for iPhone app was updated to detect users in the Six Flags parks in 10 cities and launch a game where people could earn points for asking trivia questions correctly. The game was a fun, unique way to engage park goers who were killing time in line.
It was a simple concept and people loved it, and apparently so did Forrester’s judges. We had some really impressive usage numbers and are really proud of everyone here at Ask that made the campaign a great success.
